Waikiki Beach

Waikiki Beach is a glittering, two-mile stretch of wonderland located in the heart of Honolulu. It’s a dreamy expanse, perfect for people-watching, sunning, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, and canoeing. This soft, white beach is fronted by Honolulu’s world-class hotels and restaurants, which means that the nightlife is just as much fun as the daytime adventures. Oh, and did we mention that Waikiki is also home to some of the best shopping in the world? Luxury brands, such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Salvatore Ferragamo share Kalakaua Avenue with lively, hip stores where you’re sure to find that perfect “I got it in Hawaii” gift.

If you’re in the mood for a picnic, try the broad, shady lawns of Kapiolani Park, across the street from Waikiki Beach and with a view of Hawaii’s most iconic landmark, Diamond Head Crater. Waikiki also boasts kid-friendly attractions, including the Honolulu Zoo and the Waikiki Aquarium.

Polynesian Cultural Center

Located a little less than an hour from downtown Honolulu, this cultural theme park is a popular destination with visitors to Oahu and a great way to get a taste of Polynesia. Visitors interact with and explore the culture of Hawaii, Samoa, New Zealand, Fiji, Tahiti, the Marquesas and Tonga. Try your hand at traditional games; watch talented performers demonstrate the songs and dances of their home islands; enjoy a colorful canoe pageant; feast at an authentic Hawaiian luau; and cap it off with a stunner of an evening show, “Horizons: Where the Sea Meets the Sky.”

Punchbowl Crater

This peaceful place of reflection and remembrance, honoring the men and women of the Armed Forces, is located inside the crater left by a now-extinct volcano. The National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl is a tranquil, 111-acre memorial created just after World War II and an excellent stop for those interested in learning about Hawaii’s military history. Stroll the Memorial Pathway, dedicated to all of America’s veterans, and enjoy the stunning view, spanning downtown Honolulu, Waikiki, and Diamond Head.

USS Arizona National Memorial

A must-see for anyone visiting Oahu, the USS Arizona National Memorial commemorates the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. The memorial includes a visitor center, film, museum exhibits, educational programs, and tours to the sunken battleship. Run by the National Parks Service, the memorial is a moving tribute to the lives lost that day and an introspective look at one of the defining moments in U.S. history.

Luau

You’re greeted with a mai tai, a smile, and a lei. The evening is off to a good start, no? Now try your hand at a few traditional Hawaiian games or shop for a special gift before dinner starts. Feeling hungry? You’re in for a treat, as traditional imu-roasted pork tempts your palate, along with fresh fish, tropical fruit, salads, and the staple of the Polynesian diet: poi. Next, you'll enjoy the talents of fire dancers, hula performers, and singers—all part of the luau experience. There are four major luau offered on Oahu, and we'll be happy to get your group to any one of them, for an evening of great food, good music, and rollicking fun.
